Medical Xylography Description Block 24

This woodcut was carved by Hans Burgkmair (1473-1531) in 1516. It is signed and dated, which is rare in the xylography blocks. The woodcut shows two views of a deformed baby, possibly conjoined twins.  Hollstein ascribes 834 woodcuts to this carver. He was born in Augsburg and was the son of a painter per Wikipedia.
