The painting is continuing, with staining of the stair railings, and installation of more lights above the skylight before installation of the stain glass above the staircase

 

 

Access panels allow for changing light bulbs above the stain-glass once the panels are installed

Doug visited the farm of the Amish cabinet maker yesterday.  The mahogany wood is in and construction of the display cabinets begins...keep sending in those pledges and donations folks, this museum is going to be completed, recession or not.

 

Photos of the mahogany stacked that will become the cabinets. This is the Amish Workshop of Levi Esh. Custom         cabinet builder extraordinaire!
